Woman Concerned Her Son’s Fortnite Skills Won’t Pay Off In WWIII
NASHVILLE, TN—43-year-old Kelly McKay has watched her eight-year-old son play Fortnite for the past three years. “As soon as my son Brandon started talking back to us, we decided just to throw him in front of a screen so he would finally shut up,” McKay said.
Brandon has made a lot of progress in his gameplay since his parents first put him in front of a battle royale shooting game at the age of five. The gaming conglomerate 100 Thieves has recruited him to their gaming academy. Brandon has often told his parents that he is ready for WWIII and has gone as far as “hoping he gets drafted.”
Kelly McKay has been very concerned with her son’s peculiar interest to serve in WWIII. “He seems to think that his 5.5 KD (kill/death) ratio will translate into real life,” McKay said. “I am very concerned that he just wouldn’t be prepared for war if he did get drafted.”
The future Navy seal is going viral, making Tik Toks of Fortnite dances he would do on fallen Russian soldiers. His most popular dance, “The Griddy,” has over three million views on Tik Tok. Psychiatrists all over the country have reached out to the McKay family.
