Gavin Newsom Moves ‘The French Laundry’ Into His Mansion

SACRAMENTO, CA—Governor Newsom to move three-star Michelin restaurant the French Laundry into his Sacramento mansion. After the new California mask mandate, Newsom figured it would be easier to relocate his favorite restaurant into his house rather than be criticized by the media for not following his own rules.

“I’m not sure how we are going to transition our restaurant into a house. Luckily, his mansion has five stories, and he’s paying us $10 million, so I think we’ll figure it out,” said French Laundry owner Thomas Keller.

However, residents are outraged at this new decision. “I can’t believe he is taking the French Laundry all to himself. I knew he was a little crazy after he dated Kimberly Guilfoyle, but I didn’t think that he would do something this insane,” said Sandra Hawkins.

The French Laundry will no longer be on the Michelin star list as personal chefs do not count according to their guidelines. Newsome could not be reached for comment. He was seen this afternoon in a barbershop without a mask.
